Ally (she/her) is a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) in Nova Scotia, and also supports clients in New Brunswick, specializing in perinatal mental health and wellness. She initially grew passionate about working with parents because of her own challenges in her adjustment to motherhood, particularly with guilt, shame and isolation.

Helping parents through similar challenges brings so much meaning to Ally’s work. Her areas of expertise include postpartum depression and anxiety, general adjustment to parenthood, managing overwhelm and burnout, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. Ally also has experience and additional training working with client’s who have experienced domestic violence.
